Meet Our Wild Staff

Currently ACNW is home to eight resident raptors, two corvids, a porcupine, a rabbit, and a number of reptiles and amphibians. All of the Center’s birds have permanent injuries that deem them non-releasable and they now live at the Center acting as ambassadors for their species.

At ACNW, our ‘wild staff’ are used in live animal educational programs to teach visitors about wildlife. In addition, all of our birds and mammals are part of our “Sponsor a Wild Critter” program. Click on the images below to read each animal’s story.
