Species:  North American Porcupine Sex:  Male Name:  Spike Age:  Born in 2010 Weight:  8kg or ~18 pounds Injury:  Spike was found in an area of the forest that had been logged. He may have been injured in the logging but he was raised by a private citizen from when he was about a week old. He became habituated to people and moved to the Audubon Center when he was about 1.5 years old. ‘Friend a Wild Critter’ Donation:  $75
Fun Fact: Spike enjoys walking around the center in the summer, eating raspberry and grape leaves and climbing trees.
